Don Postler has been a lifelong resident of Dane County and is a proud graduate of Sun Prairie High School. After high school, Don attended Edgewood College where graduated with a degree in History and minor in Political Science. Don met his wife Jamie while at Edgewood College and they now reside in the village of Dane where he has served on the village board since 2018. Don is a dual-elected official, serving as the Village President in Dane since 2022. Don is passionate about local government and always enjoys learning something new. Don is an advocate for county parks and natural resources, sustainability, and rural issues such as farmland preservation and broadband accessibility.

In his down time Don enjoys spending time with family & friends, playing golf, cheering on Badger football, and enjoying the great outdoors with his Great Dane, Ulysses. Don is proud to represent district 29, which represents the village of Dane and the townships of Dane, Middleton, Springfield, Vienna, and a portion of the town of Verona.
