The Dane County Board of Supervisors meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of most months at 7 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Meeting dates and agendas are available on the Legislative Information Center Calendar.
Note: If a regular meeting falls on a holiday, it will be rescheduled to a different Thursday.
Dane County Board meetings are conducted in a hybrid format, allowing public attendance and participation in person, virtually, or by phone.
To attend a county board meeting virtually, register for the meeting using the link available at the top of the agenda. After completing the registration form, you will receive an email confirmation with a Zoom link sent to the email address used during registration.
If you plan to attend virtually and wish to speak or register your position on an item, please complete your virtual registration at least 30 minutes before the start of the meeting.
During the meeting, if you registered to speak, you will be called when it is your turn. If you are joining from a computer or mobile device, you will receive a message asking you to join the meeting as a panelist. It is important to click “Join as panelist” so you are able to speak to the board.
To attend by phone, you can use the toll-free phone numbers listed at the top of the agenda, along with the meeting code for the specific meeting you are attending.
If you have registered to speak at least 30 minutes before the start of the meeting, you will be asked to unmute when it is your turn to provide comment. To unmute your phone, press *6.
Members of the public attending a county board meeting in person who wish to provide public comment are strongly encouraged to complete the online registration form using the link on the agenda at least 30 minutes before the start of the meeting.
